I thought this was a really solid base that with some additional development time could really turn into an excellent time-waster.

I know the 72 hour time limit is tight, but a few suggestions if you ever decided to do anything more with this:

- The end-game is too easy to get too at present. It takes very little time to max out all the upgrades. Possibly increase the cost of those.

- Once you know the optimal items to pick-up, everything else becomes worthless. While it was funny the first time I accidentally picked up a skull (very heavy and very bulky, but worth almost nothing), I never looked at them again. Might just need to workshop each item a bit more to make them all at least somewhat viable. I know balance is the hardest part.

Overall though this was fun for what it was. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Great work.

(As an aside, if you need music for these kinds of things, there's a lot of us here that are willing to work on projects like this. I've done LD before with a couple of different teams as the composer and I'm always up for fun projects!)

I love this game in principle, but the proc gen needs some fine tuning I think. I've had floors spawn that had no solution (green door but no green key on the floor anywhere), which is a real bummer during a good run.

If that bug can get ironed out, I'll make this 5 stars.

Really like the laid-back groove in this! Nice work!

Thank you! :)

The retro filter really "makes" this piece, in my opinion. There's something very old-school silent-film about it and I dig that a lot. Great work!

Thanks. Mastering tracks usually takes me a lot of time only to get poor results. Who knew just lobbing-off the top and bottom makes such a positive difference. Thanks for the review.

Man, if you had access to some better jazz horn sounds that would put this over the top. Well composed from a theory standpoint though! You clearly have a developing grasp of jazz technique and I imagine it is only going to get better.

DuttonsaysHi responds:

Wow thank you so much! :D As said on a previous review, I wish and hope one day I can actually work with live jazz instruments/players to compose something more authentic!

Also that's good to know man ^^ I'm glad you have faith in my jazz style :D thanks again!
